About us

USK Training and Professional Expertise Services is strategic unit under the Business and Endownment Funds Directorate (DBDL) of Syiah Kuala University Universitas Syiah Kuala that provides training, certification, and professional consulting services to support USK’s financial independence as a State Legal Entity University (PTNBH). It focuses on enhancing the skills of the academic community and the wider public through programs such as barista training, conducted in collaboration with partners like Baitul Mal Aceh.”

The Business Unit’s staff hold lecturer certifications from the Ministry of Education and Culture, allowing them to deliver high-quality, modern training. The unit also comprises Master’s and Doctoral degree holders, including professors, with a goal of reaching 100 experts in their respective fields.

Feasibility studies, policy formulation, HR management and company organization, environmental impact analysis

Inspection and Testing

Laboratory and field testing for industrial materials, energy audits, environmental audits, structural audits, and electrical/mechanical audits.

Planning and Design Review

Master planning, pre-design, technical and cost review, spatial and landscape planning, product design, and interior design.

Project Management and Supervision

Project management and supervision for civil, architectural, mechanical, and electrical projects.

Survey

Social, economic, civil, geological, geodetic, and geophysical surveys.

Technical Assessment and Certification of Building Functional Feasibility

A building functional feasibility certificate is an official document issued by local or central government for special-purpose buildings, confirming that the building’s functional performance is suitable for administrative or technical use before being utilized. The assessment includes:

  1. Checking the functional feasibility of the building

  2. Ensuring the reliability of the entire or part of the building

  3. Verifying historical records of building maintenance activities

In-House Training

In-house training packages can be tailored according to partner requests and conducted on-site at partner locations. Training materials are prepared comprehensively and progressively to ensure holistic mastery of the knowledge.
